Le Cordon Bleu Sydney Alumnus success at Chocolate Show, Korea

Le Cordon Bleu new graduate and now Alumnus, Eun Hye (Grace) KIM won a Silver medal recently at the International Young Chef Challenge held in Korea.

Her silver came from a piece she exhibited in the Chocolate Show which embodied over 5,000 years of beautiful Korean culture and history.

This innovative competition attracts young chefs from all over the world and provides them with the stage to promote their fresh culinary experience, skills and abilities.

Teams from Costa Rica, Denmark, USA, Australia, Italy, Luxembourg, Slovenia and from Asia were present for this great event, withGrace's award winning chocolate piece a response so overwhelming that over 43 teams applied for the 20 spots on offer.

 Grace won silver with the highest marks at the competition for her show piece and although ecstatic will be aiming higher again in 2014 for gold!
